Site Daily Log

Terms of service

Site Daily Log, operated by The Vyre Group · Effective 1 September 2026

These terms cover use of Site Daily Log. By signing in you agree to them. If you are using the service through an employer, they also have an agreement with us, and where the two differ, theirs governs the account.

What the service is

Site Daily Log is operated by The Vyre Group. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean The Vyre Group.

Site Daily Log records daily construction site activity: hours worked, safety forms, photographs, deficiencies and related messages. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide safety, legal or employment advice, and it does not decide whether work is safe to carry out.

Accounts

  • Accounts are issued by an employer. There is no public sign-up into an existing company — joining one requires an invite code from an administrator.
  • You are responsible for what is done under your account. Do not share your password or your invite code.
  • Sign in only as yourself. Signing a safety form as someone else may be an offence as well as a breach of these terms.
  • An administrator can deactivate your account at any time, which ends your access immediately.

Your records

The records you enter belong to the company you work for. They may use, export and retain them, including after you leave. We claim no ownership over them and use them only to operate the service.

Records are meant to be accurate. Entering hours you did not work, or signing a safety check you did not carry out, is a misuse of the service and may have consequences beyond it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reach another company's records, or any account that is not yours.
  • Probe, scan or interfere with the service, or work around its access controls.
  • Upload malicious files, or content that is unlawful or that you have no right to share.
  • Use the service to harass anyone, including through comments or message boards.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It may be unavailable for maintenance, or because of a failure at a provider we depend on. Site conditions — particularly a poor mobile signal — can also prevent it from working.

Do not rely on it as your only copy of a legally required record without satisfying yourself that your obligations are met.

Safety records are your responsibility

The forms in the service are templates. Confirming they meet the regulations that apply to your jurisdiction, your site and your work is the responsibility of the company using them, not ours. Templates can be changed to match your own paperwork.

Third-party services

The service depends on Supabase for data storage and authentication, Vercel for hosting, and Google for optional sign-in and Drive copies. Their own terms apply to those parts, and an outage at any of them can affect availability here.

Liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law permits. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for records lost where you have not kept your own copy. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending access

You may stop using the service at any time; ask your administrator to deactivate your account. We may suspend or end access that breaches these terms, or where required by law. Records already filed are retained as described in the privacy policy.

Changes

These terms may change. The effective date above shows when they were last revised, and continuing to use the service after a change means the revised terms apply.
