Site Daily Log, operated by The Vyre Group · Effective 1 September 2026
Site Daily Log is a record-keeping tool used by construction companies. This page explains what it collects, why, and who can see it.
Who controls your information
Site Daily Log is operated by The Vyre Group. In this policy, “we” means The Vyre Group.
Accounts are created by an employer, not by us. The company you work for decides who may see your records and how long they keep them; we operate the service on their behalf. If you want your information corrected or removed, start with your employer’s administrator.
What we collect
Account details, so you can sign in and be identified on a record:
- Your name, username, and email address.
- A phone number, if your employer records one.
- Your role — crew, administrator or owner — and which company and projects you belong to.
Work records you or your employer create in the app:
- Hours worked, including start and end times, notes, and any corrections an administrator makes.
- Safety form answers, and the signature you draw when you sign one.
- Photographs you upload, with their captions and the date they relate to.
- Deficiencies, extra-work items, comments and messages.
We do not collect location data, contacts, or anything from your device beyond the photographs you choose to upload.
Signing in with Google
If you sign in with Google, we request only your email address and basic profile — your name and profile picture. We use them to create your account and show who filed a record. We do not read your Gmail, contacts, calendar or files, and we never use this information for advertising.
Google data is used only to provide the service described here. It is not sold, and it is not transferred to anyone except the processors listed below.
Google Drive, if your company connects it
An administrator may optionally connect a company Google Drive account. When they do, a copy of each completed safety form PDF is written into a folder in that Drive as it is filed or amended. This is the only thing written, and nothing in the Drive is read back.
The connection is authorised by an administrator, not by crew members. The credential allowing it is encrypted before storage and can be disconnected at any time from the app’s administration screens, or revoked from the Google account permissions page.
Who can see your records
- You can see your own hours, forms, photos and messages.
- Administrators and owners of your company can see all records within that company.
- Other companies using this service cannot see any of it. Each company's data is kept separate.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or marketing.
Where it is stored
Records are held in a managed Postgres database and file storage operated by Supabase, and the application is hosted by Vercel, both in the United States. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. If your company connects Google Drive, the copies described above are stored in that Google account.
Every request is checked on the server before any record is returned; the database is not reachable directly from a browser.
How long it is kept
Safety forms, signed timesheets and related records are kept as long as your employer needs them, which for safety paperwork is usually several years. When someone leaves, their account is deactivated rather than deleted, so the records they signed remain intact and attributable.
If your employer asks us to delete their account, the records it contains are deleted with it.
Your choices
- You can stop using Google sign-in at any time and use a username and password issued by your employer instead.
- You can ask your employer's administrator to correct your details or your logged hours.
- You can ask, through your employer, for a copy of the records held about you, or for them to be deleted where the law allows and the records are not required for safety compliance.
Children
The service is for people working on a job site and is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above is updated. Continuing to use the service after a change means the revised policy applies.
